Knowing heating and cooling principles and theories, installation of HVAC equipment and systems to provide air conditioning for occupants of buildings and structures, installation of ductwork, gas piping, venting and knowledge of codes and standards. Installation of forced air heating and cooling systems in residential and commercial applications including heat-pumps-(air to air and water-air), mini splits, roof top units from 2-25 tons, geo thermal systems, commercial kitchen exhaust systems for type 1 and type 2, complete duct systems in both commercial and residential applications, type B vents, gas piping systems utilizing natural, propane and fuel oil, lay out and installation of CSST piping systems, exhaust and special venting systems.
