Applications for licensing are managed by your local city or county government jurisdiction. Those agencies determine which ICC exam is appropriate for your license based on local code adoption. They also determine if pre-authorization is required.
To find the exam content areas, total questions and time allowed, you must use the ICC web page (from the button below) and search for your exam by choosing "Type: Contractor/Trades". Then enter the three digit exam code in the "Title" (example: "T16"). Click "Search" then "OUTLINE". ICC no longer publishes a PDF version of local exam titles.
